James Lowdermilk received his MA in applied mathematics from the University of Montana. His master’s thesis was “Mathematical Models of Pyramid Building Techniques.” He has published several articles regarding ancient Egyptian pyramids, calendars and math in The Ostracon. He has presented at ESS and the annual ARCE meeting many times. Jim has traveled to Egypt seven times and did ground penetrating radar work on Egyptologist Mark Lehner’s excavation at Giza. He owns and operates Mathemagician Tutoring services in Denver, Colorado.
